testimonials

“We hired Juan Carlos as an illustrator for investing features. We wanted a way to draw in readers for what can be dense or complicated stories. ...He quickly grasped the concepts of the stories and delivered highly engaging and colorful works. We use him on a regular basis and he is always on-time -- and on budget.”
Deborah Stokes  Design Editor (Financial Post)

Right from the start, Juan Carlos impressed me with his efficient, professional manner - an approach that not only inspired confidence, but generated the results I was looking for. He was able to take a dry, legal topic and produce four (!) amazing rough sketches that were spot on. No changes necessary! The final art was wonderful and submitted before the deadline. I can give Juan Carlos a project and then step away from it, knowing that he'll get it done right and on time.
Elizabeth Novak  Art Director (Inside Counsel)

Juan Carlos is a pleasure to work with. Working on a legal book it is sometimes a challenge to come up with interesting concepts but Juan Carlos always comes up with fresh striking images. I would recommend him to any Art Director looking for a dependable and talented illustrator.
William Hunter  Art Director (Canadian Lawyer)

“I work with Juan from time to time and appreciate his eagerness and dedication when tackling a project. I wouldn't hesitate (and haven't) to recommend him to my clients when I'm unavailable - I know he'll deliver great work on time.”
